Essays for Piano

Original Compositions for Contemporary-Classical Piano Composed by J. R. Marc Lauzon

About the Author

J. R. Marc Lauzon
has developed a unique system for building piano playing skills through his musical compositions known as "Essays".

Each piece in the Essays for Piano series helps develop specific piano playing skills and techniques. An intermediate piano player can sharpen these skills by learning and playing through Essays rather than following the traditional method of repeating tedious scales and exercises. Each Essay is a fully self-contained song that is enjoyable both to play and listen to.

Originally from Niagara Falls Canada, Marc currently lives in Seattle and holds a Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington.
